Book Review: Dobson Lane by Dale Robertson

A short story.

In what starts out as a normal night walking the dog, we follow Steven as he attempts to overcome his fear of the dark. When his dog returns to his home owner-less, his other half Amber, is forced into the darkness to locate her spouse.

With a creature stalking the shadows, one of which can only be compared to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation, The Hound of the Baskervilles, can Amber locate her spouse and make it back home safely?

I’m sure most us, at one point in our lives, can relate to the fear of being alone outside in the darkness. As a former country girl, living on a farm, the feelings Dale describes in his story certainly ring true.

Overall, a nice easy read from a new author.
