Kathy Dinisi is a married to a soldier and a mother of two. She currently lives in a small town in southern California. She enjoys anything horror and scary, anything that will make her jump out of her seat and scream. When she isn’t writing about zombies or crazy killer humans she is hiking up a mountain or visiting haunted places.
Could you tell the readers a little bit about yourself?
I’m 29 years old, I started writing about 2 years ago, just for the fun of it. One thing lead to another and readers liked my stories.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I enjoy anything outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, camping.
Other than the horror genre, what else has been a major influence on your writing?
Umm just anything creepy in general.
What are the books and films that helped to inspire you as an author?
The walking dead novels, Stephen king.
What new and upcoming authors do you think we should take notice off?
It really depends on the genre that you are interested in.
My list can go on.
How would you describe your writing style?
Creepy and scary
What aspects of writing to do you find the most difficult?
Trying to write a disgusting, revulsion scene.
Is there any subject you would never write about as an author?
I have a few that I just can’t write about.
What tools do you feel are must-haves for writers?
An editor and a team of wonderful Beta readers.
What is the best piece of advice you ever received with regards to your writing?
Take your time and have fun.
Getting your worked noticed is one of the hardest things for a writer to achieve, how have you approached this subject?

What piece of work are you most proud of?
Road, happens to be my favorite at the moment. It has a lot of sentimental value.
Do you have a favorite line or passage from your work?
No, not really.
Can you tell us about your last book, and can you tell us about what you are working on next?
Road was released October 26-2016.
Its about a group of friends that go on a ten-mile hike to a bridge that was built in the middle of nowhere. But what they didn’t know was they were not alone.
What was the last great book you read, and what was the last book that disappointed you?
Bird box was the last best book I’ve read. Wow that book blew my mind.
Umm I currently just read a love story that just….well wasn’t the best.
What’s the one question you wish you would get asked but never do? And what would be the answer?
